Full blast on the roof from a garden hose had water streaming down the inside of the pillar into the footwell, with only a trickle through the drain tubes. Cleaned the tubes out with compressed air and now they’re flowing fine.

No idea yet if this is a permanent solution. I might have solved the water ingress but the Lighting Control Module that was getting dripped on may just be permanently fucked. I’ll have to wait and see. It rained the other day so the only way to know for sure is if the turn signal issue continues past the point where it should have dried out.

Congratulations on solving a problem you didn’t even know you had. That’s part of the fun I guess. I imagine that is a fairly common issue that is rarely addressed.

Question, does your sunroof vent option work? Mine does not and the plastic arms rattle when i hit a bump

Cause screw whoever thought plastic arms for a sun roof was a good idea

Mine’s just completely busted. The cables are out of sync so the wind deflector doesn’t retract and the gl ass hits it, you have to hold the deflector down from above until the glass slides over it, then manually crank   it the rest of the way shut.

The one in my Volvo S60 definitely does not. But as long as it slides properly I don’t really care if the pop-up mode works. I assume there’s some shitty plastic part that’s broken in there.

Thats where my 540i is at . Agreed I dont need the vent and I won't mind if it  wasn’t for the rattle, that gets annoying
